John C. Cassidy is looking for an experienced and dedicated Accounts Receivable Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s billing, collections, and cash application processes to ensure timely receipt of payments and accurate financial reporting. This role manages the AR team, implements effective policies and procedures, and collaborates with internal departments to optimize cash flow, reduce risk, and maintain strong client relationships. Oversee the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including billing, invoicing, credit management, collections, and cash application. Establish and enforce AR policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance. Monitor customer accounts for timely payments, identify delinquent accounts, and implement effective collection strategies. Partner with Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve billing or payment issues. Prepare regular AR aging reports, cash forecasts, and key metrics for senior management. Manage credit approval process and assess customer creditworthiness to minimize risk. Implement process improvements and automation tools to drive efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AR. What You'll Bring: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or CPA a plus). 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of AR processes, GAAP, and financial reporting. Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proven track record of driving collections performance and process improvements.
