Chief Officer Role Great opportunity for a chief officer on a newbuild 50m private motor yacht. Start first week in December. The yacht is in the shipyard in Turkey. Single season yacht. The vessel is built to commercial standards but will be run as a private yacht for owners. Malta flagged. Permanent position. After one year incentive to do courses – course study time will not be within holiday time; they’ll be able to study during work time. Contract Contract: Permanent. Salary: DOE. Qualifications Chief Mate 500GT “unrestricted sea area” (CM 3000GT preferred) Min 2 years as Officer of the Watch Chief Mate 500GT or Chief Mate 3000GT (preferred) Itinerary: Med (Summer) / Med, Italy 2025/2026 (Winter) Responsibilities The vessel will sail/travel all over the Mediterranean and winter in Italy.
