Concrete Pump Mechanic
Position Overview The Concrete Pump Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of concrete pump systems in a commercial construction environment. This role requires a strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely on job sites.
Key Responsibilities - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on concrete pump systems including Schwing and Putzmeister equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of the machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues in concrete pumps.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure timely servicing of equipment to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on all equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or relevant field preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanic, with Schwing and Putzmeister equipment.
- Valid CDL CLASS B driver's license is required.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with commercial construction equipment and environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
