Early Childhood Toddler Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom) Daycare & Preschool
Location: The Learning Experience Jenison, MI
Pay: $16$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, MondayFriday

The Learning Experience Jenison is hiring a warm, energetic Early Childhood Toddler Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom. Our daycare and preschool program focuses on helping toddlers build independence, confidence, and early learning skills through play-based, hands-on activities.

This is a great opportunity for a childcare professional who loves working with young children and wants to grow in a supportive early childhood education environment.

What Youll Do

• Create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom for 2-year-olds

• Implement play-based learning activities using The Learning Experience curriculum

• Support language development, motor skills, social-emotional growth, and early independence

• Help children with daily routines including meals, potty training, transitions, and rest time

• Communicate daily with families about progress, routines, and milestones

• Work with your teaching team to maintain classroom quality and meet Michigan licensing standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Childcare, daycare, or preschool experience with toddlers preferred (6+ months)

• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework/degree is a plus

• Understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)

• CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain)
