Job Description Job Description Sarasota window treatment company is seeking an "experienced" skilled and detail-oriented Window Treatment Technician/Installer (includes interior plantation style shutters). In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of various window treatments, ensuring that each installation meets our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Pay based on experience in the industry and possible work vehicle. We are a fast-paced growing company that offers the largest selection of manufacturers in the area. Advance your skills in a collaborative environment. Duties Install a variety of window treatments including blinds, shades, shutters and draperies in residential and commercial settings. Motorization experience a plus. Measure and assess windows to determine the appropriate installation method, includes motorization options. Programming skills needs (primarily PowerView, Somfy and some Acmedia are ideal). Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for installation and assembly. We drill into concrete daily. Perform minor drywall work as needed to prepare for installations. Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment during the installation process. Ensure all installations are completed accurately, securely, and in accordance with safety standards. Osha certification a plus. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the installation process. Organized and strong work ethic. This is a production job. Requirements Experienced installation of window treatments. Proven experience in construction, remodeling, or as a maintenance person is preferred with tools. Familiarity with drywall/concrete work and glass installation. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job (up to 50 pounds). Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
