We are seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. Job summary The Forklift Driver position is responsible for moving materials from inventory to production and back to inventory. The Forklift Driver reports to the Logistics Manager. Responsibilities Provides production departments with material from inventory according to the production schedule. Moves material in process from one station to another (if necessary). Bands, wraps, and/or packs finished goods and label material. Moves finished goods from the production area to the finished goods inventory (yard or warehouse). Assist in other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience High school diploma/GED preferred but not required. No minimum experience is required; however, construction forklift driving experience is preferred. Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Requirements Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, pushing/pulling, twisting, standing, and walking. The ability to lift/carry over 50 lbs. repeatedly.
