PART-TIME NANNY: 3 kids on the Upper East Side! Overview This fantastic returning SmartFamily is looking for a great new part-time nanny to join their team starting ASAP! They had a wonderful working relationship with their previous SmartSitter, who is now leaving to continue her career in another field. You'd be partnering with their full-time nanny, to ensure all three kids get to where they need to be after school, then helping manage dinner, homework, bath and bedtime. Their kiddos are 3, 6 and 7!It's $35/hr gross plus PTO, Sick Time, and a MetroCard. If you're very interested, but might need closer to $36, $37/hr or something similar in order to commit, please let us know. The Ideal Candidate for this Job You're experienced with multiples! Their ideal sitter is capable, smart, and happy to help make a family's day go more smoothly. You can work well on a team too - as this person will be partnering with their full-time nanny! As their kids get older, Mom has found that the ability to help with homework (their oldest is still only 7, so nothing too crazy) is incredibly helpful. You're also energetic, love to engage with the kids in your care, and can keep up with three playful boys! Their current nanny is sweet, loving, happy to jump in where needed, but also play a game of soccer in the park, and they'd love to find a similar fit this time around.They especially appreciate someone very calm and patient, who can gently and lovingly nudge them to gain independence, rather than doing everything for them. Their current nanny has been great with that, and it's really helped the boys grow, so they'd be thrilled to see that continue. Schedule Monday through Friday from 2:30 pm to 7:30 pm About the Children Boy, 3: So confident and independent for his little age - thinks he's a grown-up. Easy little one.Boy, 6: Shy little guy! Starting kindergarten this year, and is especially close to Mom.Boy, 7: Very sweet and strong-willed. Loves sweets but can be a picky eater otherwise. A bit stubborn, and does well with a sitter who can establish some limits. He loves cars!They might be a bit timid warming up at first, but once they get to know a sitter, they form a really great bond. Responsibilities You won't be with all three all day! Mostly you will be with the older two, starting with picking them up from school and taking them to any activities they have that day, and home. Then you'll help manage kid dinner, bedtime, homework, and bath. You'll be with all three for a portion of the day, as their full time nanny has an earlier end time than you would. Additional Information They're looking for consistency with the schedule, and someone who can commit for the school year (and ideally longer, if possible)!
