Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy department, ensuring all activities comply with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to optimize pharmacy operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
3. Lead, manage, and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
4. Collaborate with other department managers to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance patient care.
5. Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and industry standards.
6. Conduct regular audits of pharmacy financial operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating contracts to secure competitive prices and terms.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in the pharmacy and finance industries, implementing innovative strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Qualifications:

1. Must be a Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacy management, preferably in the Accounting and Finance industry.
3. Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
4. Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and mentoring high-performing teams.
5. Excellent knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws, rules, and regulations.
6. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and use it to drive strategic decisions.
7. Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven ability to secure favorable contracts with suppliers and vendors.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
9. Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy management software.
