Description:
Birch Agency is seeking a qualified and dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time, in-person school-based position near Belleville, IL for the 20262027 school year . This is an excellent opportunity to support students with visual impairments in a collaborative educational setting.
Position DetailsFull-time, in-person school-based role
Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
Support students in accessing the general education curriculum
Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting
School year: 20262027
Valid Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) certification
Active Illinois license (or ability to obtain)
School-based experience preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
