Job Position: Part-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
Location: Greenwood, IN 46143
Pay Rate: Starting at $35.00/hr
Description:
Birch Agency is currently seeking a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide part-time educational support for students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students with visual impairments access curriculum and achieve academic success.
Position Details:
Part-time, 1015 hours per week
Serving a caseload of PreK12 students
In-person services near Greenwood, Indiana
Flexible scheduling available within the school day
Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student needs
Adapt curriculum materials and ensure accessibility
Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
Qualifications:
Valid Indiana teaching license with endorsement in Visual Impairments
Experience working with students PreK12 preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Commitment to supporting student growth and independence
