ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 36 or 48 hour shifts in Emergency Department
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5 across all shifts
\n• Weekend coverage required as needed (Saturday and Sunday days, Friday-Sunday nights)
\n• Float to Pediatric ED is optional, floating to Adult PCUs is required based on staffing needs
\n• Potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma units as needed
\n• 2 years of experience required (will review 1.5 years with Level I Trauma experience)
\n• Travel experience strongly preferred, first-timers considered with 2+ years Level I experience
\n• Level I trauma experience preferred, Level II trauma required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (must have TNCC before submission)
\n• No on-call requirements
\n• Guaranteed contracted hours per week with facility allowed 3 call-offs per 13-week assignment
\n• Overtime must be pre-approved by client (approval is rare)
\n• 24-hour orientation required
\n• Approximately 60-80% of Emergency Department patients are admitted
\n• Daily census 170-200 patients with 175 visits per day
\n• 53 rooms and 68 beds in Emergency Department
\n• Black scrubs required (not provided)
\n• Charting system: Cerner
\n• Medication administration including IV medications and bar code scanning
\n• Care for patients with trauma, resuscitation needs, and emergency conditions
\n• No locals within 75 miles accepted
\n• New Mexico license can be pending at time of submission

The facility features 554 staffed beds and serves as a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The emergency department maintains high patient volumes with extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation services. The facility emphasizes evidence-based practice and maintains strict compliance standards for optimal patient care delivery.
