Job Summary:

Client is seeking a Gas & Chemical Megasys Technician to support site gas and chemical distribution systems in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe operation of gas and chemical equipment while driving a zero-incident safety and quality culture. The position offers structured on-the-job training, technical certifications, and a clear multi-level career progression path in a rapidly growing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support technical operation and maintenance of site gas and chemical equipment  
• Perform cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems  
• Conduct complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for equipment issues  
• Maintain and support over 500 pieces of distribution equipment across multiple vendors  
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, operational, and maintenance procedures  
• Drive a zero safety and zero quality incident culture  
• Participate in basic safety processes, quality management, preventive maintenance, and training activities  
• Support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of gas systems, precursor delivery systems, and bulk chemical distribution systems as experience increases  

Required Skills:

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude  
• Ability to troubleshoot complex equipment issues  
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance  
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation  
• Willingness to participate in training and qualification programs  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment  
• Military technical training, including Navy Nuclear Power School or mechanic training  
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
